Urgent: 6.9-magnitude quake hits north of Honduras -- GFZ

BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted north of Honduras at 2323 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.65 degrees north latitude and 82.43 degrees west longitude.
